As banks continue to focus on asset diversification and income generation, the industry is seeking a diverse set of lending opportunities. Limits on some CRE-related lending activities may provide obstacles to the quest for higher loan volume. For many banks, exploring partnerships with experienced C&I originators can be a solution to the challenge of loan growth, but figuring out which partnerships might make sense can be a daunting process. This session will discuss best practices around evaluating loan sourcing partnerships with an eye toward partner selection and asset performance expectations.

Wayne Gore is a Senior Managing Director with Alliance Partners. Prior to joining Alliance Partners, Wayne held leadership roles in the Financial Institutions Group with McKinsey & Co. and served as Managing Director at the Corporate Executive Board. Previously, Wayne was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions teams. He has also served on the Board of a community bank during its growth from $200 million to $1.1 billion in assets. Wayne received his B.A. from Princeton University and his J.D. and M.B.A. from Columbia University.
